Where the story began and where it ends each year, Truckfest Original has a special place in the industry’s heart.

Having been absent from the Newark and Notts showground for 28 year, the event returned in 2011 seeing thousands of visitors and hundreds of competeting trucks to enjoy the last out of the year.

Situated adjacent to the A1, the Newark and Notts Showground is strategically placed for industry and visitors Nationwide to visit the event.

The Managing Director of Mertrux Ian Marshall recalls being at the very Truckfest event 31 years ago with his father on the Mertrux stand.

Times have changed but the principles of Truckfest still remain the same providing a meeting place for the whole of the road haulage industry and enjoying and event which is all about them, their love of trucks and a passion that they and their family have for the event.
